It’s The Cookie

A few weeks ago, my wife made vegan cookies that turned out wrong.

They were dry.

However, we ate them anyway.

No big deal.

Next time she’ll make them better.

Why I’m I talking about cookies?

One of the biggest diseases salespeople suffer from is anxiety.

The root cause?

Attaching your self-worth to perfect “cookies.” 20 meetings per month.

When you fall short, you begin to think that if you don’t get enough, you won’t make enough.

Same intent.

Same feelings.

You’re not doing anything wrong. It’s how humans are wired.

The way out?

Reprogram your brain to be happy and satisfied with the “cookies” you made this week.

Focus on tweaking the recipe, not the cookie.

Different intent.

Different feelings.
