Get Missed Meetings Rescheduled 80% Of The Time

It can be frustrating when you show up for a meeting and your potential customer stands you up or cancels.

Next time you get a no-show, try this technique to get your meeting back on the books 80% of the time:

  1.  Send an email like this:

“Hi Bob, I’m sorry you weren’t able to attend our [DATE & TIME, ex. Wednesday, 2:30 PM] meeting to chat about how we might help your SDRs book more meetings. I’d imagine it’s difficult to maintain your crazy busy schedule.  No worries.  I’ll send you an invite for the same time next week.  Please let me know if that doesn’t work for you.”

2.  Leave a voicemail with the same message.

3.  Send the invite.

Why this works:

Your potential customer has to take action if they don’t want to receive the invite, which works against inertia.  Doing nothing is easier.  If they do act, oftentimes they will suggest an alternative time.
